Our Setting...

EllyTotts is a high quality childcare facility located in the idylic village of Cawood. We also serve the villages of  Kelfield, Ryther, Biggin, Church Fenton, Wistow, Stillingfleet, Naburn, Riccall, Fulford, Barlby, and Thorpe Willoughby as well as the towns of Tadcaster, Selby, Sherburn and York. We pride ourselves on working closely with families and the communities we are part of.

We provide full day care for under 5s as well as wrap around school care for those attending Cawood Primary school and Cawood Preschool Nursery. In the school holidays we offer full day provision for children up to the age of 12 years.

We are fully Ofsted registered - as both a childminding setting and childcare on domestic preises - and have been given Ofsted's 'GOOD' grading on our three inspections.

ELLYTOTTS AND YOUR CHILD

We understand that choosing the right childcare is a huge decision so we provide the best possible environment for children. Come and visit us as many times as you and your child like for a 'Stay and Play' session before making this decision. Stay and Play sessions enable you to see how comfortable your child is in the environment, and how they interact with the other children and adults alike.

Helping your child get settled-in is very much our priority.  To help us achieve this we offer the opportunity to carry out a home visit so we can better understand how your child likes to play, and what their interests are.  This also provides a friendly recognisable face for your child for when they are left with us for the first time, and proves so valuable for your child, as building the relationship we adults have with each other.

ELLYTOTTS AND YOU

We believe that a strong, positive relationship between staff and parents helps gain the best start a child can have in life. Because of this we hold regular social events where parents can meet each other and also you can meet the staff and have time to chat without a child pulling at your trouser leg. Our favourite social events are the Christmas Party and end of term BBQ!
